Sophia Di Martino to host new season of espionage podcast True Spies

A new season of the global hit espionage podcast True Spies is being launched by Spyscape Studios.

The podcast has achieved tens of millions of downloads with its highly considered and humanising portraits of some of history’s most compelling perpetrators of spycraft.

Hosted by actress Sophia Di Martino, this season begins with a series of episodes about one of the most consequential and notorious figures of the turn of the millennium, Osama Bin Laden.

It features interviews with various CIA operatives, foreign affairs journalists and more. Over three-episodes, the podcast reveals the truth about Bin Laden’s rise to power as the leader of Al-Qaeda, how he regularly thwarted assassination attempts, and how, following the tragic events of 9/11, a female border guard was the first domino to fall in the long hunt for the world’s most infamous terrorist.

The new season of True Spies will be available on podcast platforms from 8 November. Subscribers to SPYSCAPE+ will have exclusive access to the first episode on 1 November.
