SURROUND podcast network welcomes LUXE Connect Podcast to lineup

SURROUND Podcast Network has added a new architecture and design series to its roster.

The LUXE Connect Podcast from LUXE Interiors + Design has joined the network, with its first episode now available and new editions planned each month.

This brings another established editorial voice into podcasting, extending reach to a professional audience interested in high-end residential design.

The series focuses on conversations with architects, designers and industry figures, exploring the thinking behind notable homes and the people involved in creating them.

It connects listeners with practitioners working across contemporary design, while reflecting the publication’s existing coverage of residential projects.

The opening episode, A Futuristic Lake Tahoe Retreat, is hosted by LUXE Homes Editor Mary Jo Bowling.

It features architect Clare Walton discussing the development of a modern home influenced by a client’s interest in space, concrete materials and a close relationship with the surrounding landscape.

The property is designed as a group of pod-like structures linked by glass passageways. Concrete is used to complement retractable walls of glass, opening the interiors to the surrounding landscape.

Clare explains how the project builds on a long-term ambition to create what she describes as an “ultimate glass box” in a woodland environment.

Future episodes will continue to highlight residential design projects and the teams behind them. The second episode will focus on a home in Healdsburg, California, designed to reflect a 1980s-inspired, screen-free lifestyle, led by architect Monica Ream and interior designer Lauren Nelson.

The podcast is available across major listening platforms.
