Katie Phillips continues documenting her journey and treatment following her thyroid cancer diagnosis in February.
Having ending series two with a heartfelt farewell on the podcast to her long-time friend Clair Whitefield, the new series sees PR agency KPPR founder Katie having conversations with a broad selection of guests who have a personal significance and relevance to her own journey. These include pre-eminent doctors and cancer practitioners, wellness coaches and close friends.
Katie said: “I am really enjoying the guest element of series three. Everyone I speak to shares something so insightful about how cancer impacts on their lives, whether that’s personal or professional. I am certainly learning a lot, and I really hope the listeners will too.”
Guests in the third series include Dr Paul Huang, Head of the Molecular and Systems Oncology Laboratory at The Institute of Cancer Research, Deborah Berryman, Katie’s friend ‘The Guru’, Carly Moosah, Wellness Coach, Vicky Fox, Yoga For Cancer teacher, Dr Alexander Lyon, Consultant Cardiologist at the Royal Brompton Hospital and more.
The podcast supports two charities: The Royal Marsden and Maggie’s via its Just Giving page.
Talking With Cancer is available to listen to on all podcast platforms, with weekly episodes released on Tuesdays.
