Spotify Wrapped, the annual feature celebrating the streamer’s fans, artists and creators, has been released for 2024.
The release includes the top artists, songs, genres, albums and listening time. There’s also data about the top streams around the world and the most listened-to podcasts for the past year, as well as the number of new artists that have been discovered.
From showing users how their taste in music evolved throughout the year to delivering their Wrapped results via a new personalised podcast experience, 2024 Spotify Wrapped is giving fans even more ways to indulge in what they love.
Globally for podcasts, 2024 saw the growth across sports, comedy and true-crime podcasts with niche audiences at the heart of podcasting. And with more than 300,000 video podcasts now on Spotify, the company saw fans enjoy the way they can diversify the way they consume content more than ever this year.
Topping the Most Popular Podcasts in the UK is The Joe Rogan Experience which has made it to #1, with The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett coming in second and The Rest Is Football landing third. Rounding out the top five are The Rest Is Politics at four and The Rest Is History at five.
Spotify’s Top Podcast of the year globally is once again The Joe Rogan Experience, marking the fifth year in a row it’s claimed the title. The rest of the top five is made up of Call Her Daddy (#2), Huberman Lab (#3), This Past Weekend w/ Theo Von (#4) and The Diary Of A CEO with Steven Bartlett (#5).

Eligible users can now access their personalised 2024 Wrapped Experience exclusively in the Spotify mobile app.
This year, for the first time, Spotify is unveiling an AI podcast about your 2024 Spotify Wrapped music listening, built with Google’s NotebookLM.
With this personalised Audio Overview, fans can dive deeper into their year’s top songs, artists, and genres, delivered using generative AI by two dynamic hosts. This feature will be available in English for eligible Free and Premium users for a limited time across the U.S., the U.K., Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland, and Sweden.
Fan favourite, AI DJ provides a next-level listening experience to Wrapped, providing commentary about your year alongside the music that soundtracked it. Also available in Spanish this year, DJ will tell you about your year in listening, and even tell you about your unique relationship with the DJ itself.
Wrapped takes over of the popular AI Playlist feature, allowing Premium users to create personalised playlists using their Wrapped data.
Users can share their Wrapped results across messaging apps and their favourite social channels. And as part of our new sharing integration with TikTok, users can easily share their Wrapped results across TikTok FYP and Stories.
Additionally, Spotify has also launched its 2024 Wrapped Creator Experience for Podcast Creators, Artists, Advertisers and – new for 2024 – Authors.
