Tom Daley launches new podcast with first guest Shania Twain

Olympic Champion Tom Daley is to launch his first ever podcast, Made With Love.

When he won his first gold medal at Tokyo 2020, he took a break from diving to do other things he loved.

Knitting became a central part of his life and now he has launched his own knitting fashion label and even knitted clothes for household names.

In Made With Love, Tom will speak to inspirational people across music, social media, activism, sport and more to find out how they’ve done the same.

The first episode features one of the biggest-selling recording artists of all time – Shania Twain. Finding out what makes her feel true purpose and happiness, Tom will explore how she found her passion and the vital role it plays in who she is today.

Each episode will see Tom’s guests reading a letter to the person, place or thing that has enabled them to do what they love the most.

Tom says: “I started knitting in 2020 as a way to relax my brain between dives and to give my hands something to do. I never thought it would become such a big part of what I do now but I’m grateful it is.

“From Splash! back in the day to most recently presenting on The One Show, I love interviewing people I look up to about what makes them tick, how they’ve ended up where they are and what they’re like behind the scenes.

“This podcast is an opportunity to do just that and find out what special passions people have in their lives that we may not know about.”

Released weekly on all podcast platforms from 27 February, Made With Love will run for eight episodes.
