Wolf & Owl is returning with a full premium video version and a new weekly bonus episode.
Ranga Bee is taking over production of the comedy podcast hosted by Romesh Ranganathan and Tom Davis, as the show enters what the company describes as a new phase focused on in-studio recording and expanded commercial opportunities.
The podcast, which has built an audience over the past five years through informal conversations and listener dilemmas, will now be recorded fully in person.
This move introduces a broadcast-quality video version alongside the existing audio format, responding to sustained demand from listeners.
Episodes will follow a new schedule, with a 45-minute main show released every Tuesday and a 20-minute bonus episode every Friday dedicated to answering audience questions.
The series restarts on Tuesday 3 March and will be available to watch on Spotify and YouTube, as well as via podcast platforms.
Commercial growth will be driven by Platform Media, continuing its partnership with Ranga Bee after working together on The Romesh Ranganathan Show last year. That launch included headline sponsorship from Santander UK and brand partnerships with Apple, Sky UK, Tesco plc and Airbnb.
Romesh Ranganathan said: “There were rumours during the break that I’d tried to cut Tom off and end Wolf and Owl. I want to end the speculation by confirming that’s true. It didn’t work. We’re back. You’re welcome.”
Tom Davis added: “Nothing makes me happier than spending time and chatting shit with Rom, now we get to do this in a sweet new studio with the world able to listen and watch our inane conversations… what a time to be alive”.
Ben Green, Managing Director of Ranga Bee, said the move brings the show fully under the company’s banner, while Josh Adley, Chief Executive Officer at Platform Media, said the partnership would create new value for brands and agencies.
The relaunch also includes a social-first growth strategy and closer distribution ties with Spotify.
