Wondercraft launches Wonda AI agent for content creation

Wondercraft, the Y Combinator-backed AI content studio, has launched Wonda, described as the first AI agent designed specifically for content creation.

The platform allows users to create, edit and refine professional audio and video by holding a natural conversation with the tool, eliminating the need for traditional editing software or specialist skills.

Wonda generates content from a description and then iterates in real time through an intuitive conversational interface.

“Human storytelling began with conversations around a campfire. Wonda brings us back to that simplicity – you speak, and Wonda creates,” said co-founder Dimitris Nikolaou. He added: “Adobe had 30 years to simplify creation. Wonda does it in 30 seconds.”

Positioned as a major shift in creative workflows, Wonda is designed for marketers, agencies and creative teams who want to move away from timelines, recording software and traditional editing tools.

“The future of creative production won’t be built on complexity for the few, but on simpler conversations for the many,” said co-founder Oskar Serrander, a veteran of the creator economy. “Wonda replaces traditional workflows and software with dialogue to shape your ideas in real time.”

Wondercraft research suggests more than 80% of global creators now use AI in some part of their work, with nearly 40% relying on it end-to-end, from concept through to production. The company says Wonda is the first AI agent built to match this level of ambition.

Jake Rea, Vice President of Operations at DAX (Global), says: “Wonda is another valuable addition to the Wondercraft platform. It’s designed to further streamline the audio production services we offer to our clients.

“Wondercraft continues to evolve within the AI space, offering innovative capabilities that enhance both efficiency and creative output.

“With these tools, DAX can provide even more high quality, tailored audio solutions to meet our clients’ needs.”

Since February 2024, Wondercraft has grown to more than 300,000 users across 110 countries, with creative teams from Amazon, Spotify, BetterHelp, the World Bank and Publicis Groupe among those adopting the platform. It is also the AI production system used by Spotify Advertising.

With the launch of Wonda, Wondercraft aims to expand through deeper partnerships and integrations into existing creative platforms.

Currently available for audio production, Wonda will extend to video creation later this year, with beta testing expected in the autumn. Access is now open via a waitlist at wondercraft.ai/wonda.
