Fearne Cotton and Russell Brand are among the guests on a new podcast launching from clinical psychologist and yoga teacher Dr Elizabeth Rovere.
Wonderstruck will attempt to unpack experiences of awe and wonder that make us feel connected to something greater than ourselves.
Research shows that awe-inducing experiences have important mental, emotional, physical and spiritual benefits. They ask us to slow down and truly experience life.
As a clinical psychologist and Harvard Divinity School graduate, Elizabeth is interested in how these experiences can have a profound effect on psychological transformation.
She will speak to experts and experiencers, shamans and scientists, agnostics and atheists, academics and artists as she seeks to understand what ‘wonderstruck’ moments look like and how they can change our lives.
In addition to wellness pioneer Fearne Cotton and award-winning comedian Russell Brand, guests who share their own stories include Dr Dacher Keltner, Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Berkeley and yoga teacher Mary Reilly Nichols.
Wonderstruck with Elizabeth Rovere will be available on all major podcast platforms from Wednesday 1 March.
