World Cup Uncensored podcast brings football debate to fans

A new football podcast will accompany this summer’s World Cup with former England captain John Terry joining Piers Morgan and Simon Jordan for tournament coverage.

World Cup Uncensored launches next week and will run throughout the competition, combining debate, analysis and fan reaction.

The programme will be available on the Piers Morgan Uncensored YouTube channel and as a podcast.

Morgan, Jordan and Terry will lead the coverage from the studio, alongside a mix of pundits and football fan creators.

Former Everton and Nottingham Forest manager Sean Dyche will also appear during the tournament, offering analysis from his experience in top flight management.

The show is the latest extension of the Uncensored brand, which has expanded beyond its original news and current affairs format.

Speaking about the launch, Piers Morgan said: “If there’s one thing I know about Simon Jordan and John Terry, they both have strong opinions, as well as a huge love for the beautiful game. They will bring their Uncensored views to our fiery World Cup coverage.”

He added: “If the fans are talking about it, we’ll be debating it. No preaching, no monologues, no turtlenecks. Just honest opinions.”

Simon Jordan said he was looking forward to working alongside Morgan and Terry during the tournament, while John Terry highlighted his experience as a UEFA Pro Licence coach and former England captain as he joins the discussions around the competition in the United States.
