Riki Lindhome revisits her role as Sheldon’s stalker on podcast

Actor and comedian Riki Lindhome, who played physics graduate Ramona Nowitzki on The Big Bang Theory, joined the official rewatch podcast as a guest.

Lindhome first appeared in season two as Ramona, the character who became Sheldon Cooper’s stalker and platonic girlfriend, before returning years later as his first love interest.

On The Official Big Bang Theory Podcast, she recalls the unusual request that came with her audition: producers asked her to dye her hair red so she would not match Kaley Cuoco’s blonde look.

She also shares her initial nerves at having to give Jim Parsons a pedicure on-screen but describes how the two “locked in” during filming and found their rhythm.

Reflecting on her place in the show’s legacy, Lindhome reveals the surprising way she left her mark beyond her on-screen role. She wrote and performed original songs for The Big Bang Theory, cementing a connection with the series that extended behind the scenes.

She also remembers the moment co-creator Bill Prady phoned her during season 10 to invite her back for a guest appearance, something she describes as both flattering and unexpected.

Other anecdotes include the light-hearted exchange when Howard Wolowitz flirts with Ramona, leading Lindhome to deliver a sharp “ew” that fans quickly embraced. She also shares a more personal moment, revealing how she and co-host Jessica made a pinky swear during recording, underscoring the warmth of the rewatch project.

All episodes of The Big Bang Theory remain available to stream on HBO Max, while the podcast continues to explore the making of one of television’s most successful sitcoms through cast memories, behind-the-scenes stories, and special guest appearances like Lindhome’s.

New episodes of “The Official Big Bang Theory Podcast” are released weekly on Max and all major podcast platforms.
