Season nine of When Life Gives You Lemons launches this week, hosted by motivational speaker and physiotherapist Emma Levy.
The podcast focuses on mindset and resilience, featuring conversations with high achievers who have overcome significant adversity to rebuild stronger lives.
Emma, who has supported elite athletes including Olympians, created the series after her own breast cancer diagnosis at the age of 36. Determined to use her experience to inspire others, she began recording conversations about how mindset shapes recovery, perseverance and success.
The new season opens with Team GB sprinter Lina Nielson, who was diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis at 17 but has gone on to win an Olympic bronze medal in the 400m relay.
Lina shares her powerful story of balancing elite sport with a chronic condition, challenging expectations and redefining what is possible.
Other guests include cancer advocate The King of Chemo, breast cancer surgeon and campaigner Dr Liz O’Riordan, and wellness expert Lavinia Mehta MBE.
The series also features wellness entrepreneur Loui Blake, former footballer James Roffey, adaptive athlete Tyler Saunders, Olympic cyclist Emma Pooley and West End performer Ben Forster.
Each episode highlights real-life stories of resilience, courage and determination, with the aim of encouraging listeners to face their own challenges with strength and optimism.
