Having known Parish since he was 12, Ian Rosenblatt’s long-standing connection gives the episode a rare depth. Parish opens up about rescuing Crystal Palace from administration in 2010 and how fan feedback reshaped his ambitions for the club, from financial stability to chasing trophies.

Reflecting on this year’s FA Cup triumph, he says: “The best thing you can do in football is to win.”

Parish also shares lessons on leadership, innovation and calculated risk-taking, with reflections on how artificial intelligence could reshape the advertising and marketing world where his career began.

Rosenblatt said: “Steve’s story is about more than football or business success. It’s about finding what you love, questioning the status quo, and never settling for good enough. That’s what the Winning series is all about.”

Future guests in the series include Moira Benigson, General Sir Gordon Messenger, Dr Ben Rosenblatt, Jonathan Bowman-Perks MBE, and opera stars Soloman Howard and Ailyn Pérez.

The first episode of Winning, featuring Steve Parish, is available now on all major podcast platforms.
