Tickets go on sale for Radio 4’s You’re Dead to Me podcast live UK tour

BBC Radio 4’s You’re Dead to Me is heading out on a major UK live tour this spring.

The history meets comedy podcast will take to the stage for a special run of live shows, bringing its mix of expert insight and humour to audiences across the country for a limited series of performances.

Hosted by Greg Jenner, You’re Dead to Me pairs leading historians with well-known comedy guests, unpacking moments from the past in a way that is both informative and accessible, while never losing sight of academic rigour.

Since launching on BBC Radio 4, the show has grown into one of the broadcaster’s standout podcast successes, frequently topping podcast charts and earning praise for making history feel relevant, funny and welcoming to a broad audience.

Announcing the tour, Greg said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to take our podcast on the road. I cannot wait to step onto the stage to say thank you to all those lovely, loyal listeners who’ve been with us over these seven years. It’s going to be a blast.”

The live shows will follow the familiar format of the podcast, with audiences able to expect lively discussion, unexpected historical facts and the same sharp comedy that has helped the series stand out in an increasingly crowded podcast market.

Presented by Phil McIntyre Live in association with BBC Studios, the tour will open at London’s Adelphi Theatre on 24 March, marking the first date of the spring run.

From there, the show will travel to Cardiff, Edinburgh and Manchester, giving fans across the UK the chance to experience the podcast in a live setting for the first time.

Further dates include Cardiff’s New Theatre on 9 April, Edinburgh’s Queen’s Hall on 12 April, and Manchester’s Opera House on 13 April.

Tickets for all dates go on sale today, 27 January, via YoureDeadToMeLive.com, with demand expected to be strong.
