The Telegraph has begun broadcasting its daily podcast Ukraine: The Latest in video, expanding the showโs reach as it marks four years since Russiaโs full-scale invasion.
The move means the foreign affairs podcast, which launched in 2022, is now available in filmed format on YouTube as well as in audio across podcast platforms.
Hosted by Dominic Nicholls and Francis Dearnley, the programme has published episodes every weekday since 24 February 2022, reporting on developments in Ukraine and their global impact.
The team regularly files dispatches from Ukraine and across Europe back to the studio in London, alongside in-depth interviews with political and military figures. Guests have included Volodymyr Zelensky and Boris Johnson.
With more than 138 million downloads to date, over 70% of the podcastโs audience is based outside the UK, including a significant following in the United States.
The show was named Podcast of the Year at the 2025 London Press Club Awards and News Podcast of the Year at the 2025 Press Awards.
Francis said: โElsewhere coverage of the war is waning, but weโre ramping it up.
โThe opportunity to be able to supplement our reporting with maps, battlefield footage, and more on-the-ground reporting felt like the natural next step. We hope our listeners around the world will agree.โ
Ukraine: The Latest is available on The Telegraphโs audio player, Apple Podcasts, Spotify and other podcast apps, with video episodes now hosted on YouTube.
