AdLarge has appointed David Cohn as Chief Revenue Officer as the company expands its podcast, creator and cross platform advertising business.
Cohn will lead revenue strategy and sales operations across AdLarge and the fwd. network, with responsibility for growing advertiser partnerships and developing new opportunities across audio, video, social media, creator content and branded campaigns.
The appointment comes as the company continues to broaden its creator roster and advertising offerings.
AdLarge says it is focusing on helping brands reach audiences through premium content and creator partnerships while creating additional monetisation opportunities for content producers.
David brings more than 25 years of experience in digital advertising, media sales and commercial leadership. His previous roles include senior positions at Spotify, Megaphone and WWE.
At Megaphone, he was part of the executive leadership team during the company’s acquisition by Spotify.
Following the deal, he led Spotify’s East Coast and Global Podcast Sales teams, overseeing revenue initiatives across 11 international markets.
He also played a role in the development of the Megaphone Targeted Marketplace, which later became the Spotify Audience Network.
Cathy Csukas, Chief Executive Officer of AdLarge and the fwd. network, said: “As our business continues to grow and evolve, we’re investing in the leadership and capabilities needed to support that growth.
“David’s experience across audio, podcasting, digital media, and advertising makes him a strong addition to our team as we continue building for the future.”
David said he was attracted by the company’s relationships across the industry and its long term plans for growth.
In his new position, he will focus on expanding revenue opportunities across both businesses, strengthening agency and advertiser relationships, and supporting further investment in creator monetisation and multi platform growth.
