Anthony Richardson and Mark Davison AKA The Exploding Heads launch comedy podcast

Sports Horn is a new comedy podcast hosted by comedians Anthony Richardson and Mark Davison, best known collectively as the popular online sketch duo The Exploding Heads.

Launching on Tuesday 20 September via Stak, the new weekly podcast will see ex-footballer turned current pundit Ian Fiveankles (Mark Davison) and Anthony Richardson lampoon the shouty testosterone-fuelled sports breakfast show.

Ian Fiveankles seeks to make his mark on modern sports radio in his very first hosting gig, in a cynical bid to win his ex-wife Denise back. The only things that stand in his way are a distinct lack of any discernible talent in this area, distractions that include a studio-based bluebottle, a pack of amorous pedigree dogs and…Jermaine Jenas.

“I think they are saying they’ve had sex Anthony, can we say sex on a breakfast show?,” Ian asks.
Anthony Richardson replies: “We can Ian, it’s men’s matters, men’s hygiene, it’s men’s health.”

Sports Horn takes everything the internet loves about The Exploding Heads sketch comedy and crafts a unique and playful takedown of sports broadcasting at every level.

The Exploding Heads have become global sensations, with Anthony and Mark producing comedy for the likes of The Guardian, Bloomberg and Fox Sports, their football show ‘How Will They Line Up?’ has been commissioned by ESPN in the US for the past seven English Premier League seasons. Their ‘Bohemian Rhapsody With Footballers video’ was also viral hit with over 4 million views.

Sports Horn will be available every Tuesday from 20 September on Apple, Spotify, Acast and all podcast providers.
