Audio Always adds five podcasts across comedy and true crime slate

Five podcasts are joining the Audio Always network across comedy and true crime alongside Significant Productions titles.

The new additions come hot on the heels of the Audio Always Originals network winning bronze as Audio Brand of the Year at the 2026 Arias and doubling its growth year on year.

Big Kick Energy is hosted by comedians Suzi Ruffell and Maisie Adam and sits within a football and comedy format with women’s football at its core while remaining open to a wider audience from long term fans to new listeners.

Flo Howard, Agent for Suzi at Off The Kerb, and Claire Nightingale, Agent for Maisie at PBJ Management, said: Suzi and Maisie have been growing Big Kick Energy from strength to strength over the past three years, and it’s the perfect time to partner with Audio Always to take the commercial offering of the podcast to the next level.”

Series two of Skinwigs from comedians Sam O’Leary and Ash Tyson launches this week and is produced by Significant Productions.

It features surreal conversations between two best friends and gained attention on social media earlier this year after the release of an original song titled Untitled in B Flat Major from Ash’s late father which is not actually written by her father.

Audio Always will handle commercial responsibility for the show as part of its wider partnership with Significant Productions alongside The Elis James John Robins Podcast How Do You Cope? and The Socially Distant Sports Bar.

Dave Masterman, co-founder of Significant Productions said: “We couldn’t be happier to be welcoming Alistair, Rachel, Sam and Ash to the network, whilst continuing to partner with Audio Always who we know will do a great job in introducing these hilarious titles to brands, audiences and listeners.”

Don’t Think So Somehow, a new podcast from comedians Alastair Green and Rachel Stubbings, also from Significant, will launch on 16 June as part of the network.

Seeing Red and Dead Famous join the Always True Crime Network following a period of activity for the Audio Always true crime team.

Seeing Red is hosted by true crime journalists Mark and Bethan and covers a broad spectrum of crime including murders fraud art heists smuggling corporate crime and miscarriages of justice with a focus on the impact on victims’ families and society.

Dead Famous also hosted by Mark explores the glitter scandals and tragic final chapters of celebrities and cultural icons whose lives were cut short.

Sophie King, Always True Crime Network, Audio Always says: “Winning Network of the Year last week was a brilliant moment for the Always True Crime team.

“To follow that with two new acquisitions in the same week feels exactly right. With Seeing Red, hosted by true crime journalists Mark and Bethan you have a podcast covering a broad spectrum of crime including murders, fraud, art heists, smuggling, corporate crime, miscarriages of justice and much more with a focus on the impact these crimes have on the victims, their families and society as a whole.

“Dead Famous, also hosted by Mark, looking at the glitter, scandals, and tragic final chapters of celebrities and cultural icons whose lives were cut short.”

All five shows will be part of the wider Audio Always partnership network which includes marketing promotional support and commercial arrangements.
