audioadpro has added an Account Director for London as it continues to expand its client services team.
Chris Compton has been appointed to the position to strengthen support for clients as demand for programmatic digital audio advertising grows.
Chris moves from Global Media and Entertainment, where he was Commercial DAX Gaming Lead, focusing on building and commercialising an audio-first gaming proposition within the DAX portfolio.
His experience spans media, outdoor, digital and audio, with 13 years focused on audio across traditional and digital channels, working with data, insights, supply and marketing teams to support growth.
The appointment comes two years after the company’s launch, during which time it has grown from a two-person startup to a team of eleven, alongside developing its own technology and launching HARK Collective to bring the digital audio advertising industry together.
Chris said: “I’m genuinely excited to be joining AAP at such an exciting stage of its journey. For me, the people you surround yourself with are everything – they shape how you grow, learn, and push forward – and it’s clear AAP has built a team with that mindset at its core.
“What’s equally compelling is the product itself: the pace at which the business has evolved, combined with the ambition behind where the technology is heading, makes this a hugely exciting opportunity to be part of.”
audioadpro Co-Founder Roger Cutsforth highlighted the importance of investing in both talent and technology as the business develops.
Roger said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Chris to AAP as we continue our investment in the best people alongside the best technology.
“As soon as Chris and I spoke, I sensed a kindred spirit, and I know he’ll be an instant hit with colleagues and clients. We can’t wait for him to start.”
The company says the hire reflects its continued focus on building an audience-first approach to digital audio advertising, aiming to improve accessibility and measurement for agencies and advertisers.
