Auto Trader is launching the second series of its popular podcast, Show on the Road, which is produced in collaboration with Fresh Air Production.
The podcast isn’t about cars but life’s twists and turns, bringing celebrities back to the places that shaped them, all while in the passenger seat of a car that mirrors their journey.
In the second season, host Alex Legouix drives stars like Roman Kemp, Zara McDermott, Olly Murs, Giovanna Fletcher, Lucy Edwards, Caitlin Sheil and Leah Joseph, Billy Monger, Dr Alex George and Big Manny, visiting the places that have defined their personal and professional lives.
Because the show is recorded on the road, it makes for a setting where celebrities open up about their pasts in a way no studio could ever replicate. Audiences can now feel even closer to the journey as they can listen and watch guests cruising on the newly launched Show on the Road YouTube channel.
This season promises to engage younger and female audiences with a dynamic format that will include stories from Lucy Edwards’ inspirational experiences to Giovanna Fletcher’s heartfelt stories.
Series two of Show on the Road launches today, 3 July with episodes released fortnightly wherever you get your podcasts.
