Basis and DAX US unlock exclusive audio access for political ads

Political advertisers will gain exclusive access to audio inventory following integration between Basis and DAX US for the 2026 United States election cycle.

The partnership brings together Basis, the intelligent operating system for autonomous advertising, and DAX US, which delivers more than 100 million listeners across ad supported streaming and podcast platforms.

The inventory will be available for political advertising only through the DSP in Basis, giving campaign teams a centralised route into large scale audio audiences during a tightly contested election period.

DAX US provides reach across podcast, streaming music, radio, and satellite audio environments, reflecting wider listening habits across the United States.

According to Nielsen, radio and podcasts account for more than 80% of daily ad supported audio listening, with audiences spending an average of four hours each day across these platforms.

Basis is as a cross-channel advertising system that automates planning and execution across programmatic, publisher direct, search, and social channels.

Its platform is designed to consolidate campaign workflows and reporting, while integrating data sets that support targeting and measurement.

Within the DAX environment, political advertisers will also be able to access L2 political data and Experian audience segments.

The integration expands access to a network that includes more than 60,000 podcasts across music, sport, news, and culture, alongside 350 terrestrial radio stations and streaming brands such as Deezer, Accuradio, LiveOne, Live365, and HitsRadio.com.

It also supports multicultural targeting, including Spanish speaking audiences, and enables geographic targeting by district, region, or state. All inventory is activated through Basis, combining planning, buying, and reporting within a single system.
