The Listeners’ Choice vote for the British Podcast Awards 2023 is now open.
You can vote for your favourite podcast for free on the BPA’s website in the public poll. Last year, over 60,000 people cast votes, which resulted in true crime podcast RedHanded retaining its trophy for a second year running.
Podcasters are encouraged to get their listeners to vote. To qualify for the award, podcasts must have been made available by 1 June 2023 listed in the Apple Podcasts directory. The vote closes on 5 September, and the winner will be announced during the Awards.
Entries for the rest of the award categories closed recently. Now, over 150 judges are in the process of deciding who is shortlisted for this year’s Awards, brought to you by the podcast industry trade publication PodPod.
The Chair of Judges this year is well-known podcaster, Elizabeth Day host of How to Fail, who follows in the footsteps of Emily Maitlis and Jon Sopel, George The Poet, Dr Rangan Chatterjee and Miranda Sawyer.
The ceremony takes place at the new immersive entertainment space in central London, HERE at Outernet, on Thursday 28 September.
