Crime House expands podcasts into video across three series

Crime House is expanding its podcast franchises into video, adding new formats across three shows this spring.

The true crime brand from PAVE Studios is launching a new series and introducing weekly video episodes to two existing podcast titles, reflecting a wider shift towards multi-platform storytelling.

A new video-first show, America’s Most Infamous Crimes, launched on 24 March, hosted by Katie Ring and released on YouTube alongside audio versions across podcast platforms.

The series will run three episodes each week from Tuesday to Thursday, focusing on high-profile US criminal cases including Ted Bundy, the Idaho murders, Gabby Petito, O J Simpson and Jeffrey Dahmer.

Katie Ring said: “These cases didn’t just make headlines. They changed laws, shifted investigations, and left patterns that still show up today.”

She added: “Most people know the story they were told. America’s Most Infamous Crimes is about everything they weren’t told, and the lessons we can still learn from them.”

Existing podcast Murder True Crime Stories has now added a weekly video episode every Friday.

Hosted by Carter Roy, the show has reached tens of millions of listeners and will now extend its storytelling beyond audio to YouTube.

Conspiracy Theories, Cults and Crimes will follow with weekly video episodes from 4 April, released every Saturday.

The series is hosted by Vanessa Richardson, who said: “True crime thrives on intimacy. It feels like sitting across from someone walking you through a case.”

She added that video will strengthen audience relationships rather than change them, saying it “only deepens it”.

PAVE Studios founder and chief executive Max Cutler said: “When we launched PAVE Studios, the goal was always to be a media company that brought premium creator-led content to fans across every platform.

“While we have seen great success with audio, our belief that ‘podcasts’ would evolve into a multi-format entertainment category has been validated as the biggest platforms are now making real investments in video infrastructure and monetisation.”
