Crossed Wires has confirmed further headline acts Dish from Waitrose, Tailenders and We Need To Talk with Paul C. Brunson.
On Friday 4 July Dish from Waitrose Live will provide conversation, food tips and a helping of fun with Nick Grimshaw and Michelin-starred chef Angela Hartnett OBE presenting their award-winning foodie podcast.
Saturday 5 July matchmaking icon Paul C. Brunson’s We Need To Talk will offer advice from the relationships expert of Married At First Sight and Celebs Go Dating along with experts and familiar faces.
Tailenders’ live show on Sunday 6 July will provide laugh out loud comedy and cricket-specifics, from BBC Radio 1’s Greg James, cricketing legend Sir Jimmy Anderson and ex-The Maccabees guitarist Felix White.
The festival has also revealed more of the wider lineup coming to Sheffield’s city centre: Richard Herring’s RHLSTP, Secret Mum Club, Drunk Women Solving Crime, On The Sofa and Not The Top 20.
These eight new shows are set to follow the footsteps of Help I Sexted My Boss who have already sold-out Sheffield’s City Hall – and No Such Thing As A Fish.
Alice Levine, co-founder of Crossed Wires says: “Year one of Crossed Wires showed us that people are desperate for the kind of connection and community that they feel with music festivals, with podcasts.
“So we’ve put together another line up of blockbuster names to perform live for 2025 – including Dish from Waitrose, Tailenders, Paul C. Brunson, Richard Herring – and combined that with after parties, platforms for newer voices and we have a surprise or two to come too!”
Greg James, Creative Director of Crossed Wires adds: “I came last year to Crossed Wires and loved it so much that I wanted to get involved in a bigger way this year.
“I love Sheffield, and I’ve always enjoyed spending time there. And one thing I really love about this is, not only are we bringing huge podcast names from all over the world to Sheffield, but we want to make sure it leaves a legacy and that we create the podcast stars of the future both off-air and on-air.”
