Gaydio in Europe podcast wins at Campaign Audio Advertising Awards 2025

LGBTQ+ radio station, Gaydio has been awarded Best Branded Series – B2C at the Campaign Audio Advertising Awards 2025.

The award was for the station’s partnership with BA Euroflyer on its podcast Gaydio in Europe.

Hosted by Gaydio’s Luis Wyatt, Chris Blackmore and Helen Scott, the series produced in collaboration with BA Euroflyer, the Gatwick based subsidiary of British Airways, explored LGBTQ+ culture and experiences across Europe, highlighting lesser-known destinations.

The goal was to get under the skin of destinations from an LGBTQ+ travellers’ perspective, shining the spotlight on places which may have otherwise gone under the radar.

The judging panel praised the podcast’s strong targeting, engaging content and seamless brand integration that felt authentic. The collaboration between Gaydio and British Airways was recognised for its creativity, execution and outstanding results, with the judges calling it an exemplary branded content series.

Brett Harris, Head of Marketing and Partnerships at Gaydio, said: “We are so proud to receive this recognition.

“Gaydio in Europe with British Airways exemplifies how brands and media platforms can work together to create meaningful, authentic content.

“This project celebrated queer friendly travel experiences and destinations across Europe and reflected Gaydio’s ongoing commitment to representing our community.

“In an era where LGBTQ+ rights are under threat across the world, it’s been such a joy to work with BA Euroflyer and British Airways who share our commitment to accessibility and acceptance.”
