The Shelina Show, hosted Shelina Janmohamed is being launched by Global.
Launching next Wednesday, 18 January, the podcast will see the award-winning author, advertising executive and mum-of-two exploring news and culture in the UK and globally.
The weekly podcast will feature interviews and discussions with a mix of familiar faces including Dan Snow and Ahir Shah, as well as new upcoming diverse voices sharing their perspectives on the biggest stories of the week.
Shelina will also talk to leading experts to discuss a topic in depth that affects us all, from trust and the social care crisis, to grief and body image.
The Shelina Show is the UK’s first major weekly news podcast hosted by a Muslim woman.

The Shelina Show will be available on Global Player, or wherever you get your podcasts, from Wednesday 18 January, with new episodes every Wednesday.
