The highly anticipated second season of the hit true crime podcast, The Girlfriends from Novel and iHeartPodcasts, has now launched.
The Girlfriends: Our Lost Sister brings back host Carole Fisher, along with her close friend Mindy Shapiro and Gail Katz’s sister Alayne Katz, to investigate the identity of a Jane Doe who was featured in the show’s first season.
The show achieved widespread acclaim, reaching the top of the Apple Podcasts charts and earned the 2024 Ambie Award for “Best True Crime Podcast.” Its popularity also caught the attention of A24 Studios, which has optioned the podcast for a television adaptation.
