Holly Morris launches new podcast about life’s worst advice

Comedian and content creator Holly Morris has launched Lousy Advice, a new podcast tackling bad life tips with humour and zero self-improvement goals.

The show is co-hosted by Holly and her boyfriend Rory; a man she once convinced to quit his job to join her in creating content. The result is an intentionally unhelpful, magazine-style podcast that fully embraces the chaotic side of modern life.

Each weekly episode explores the kind of advice people in their twenties and thirties often receive, from unrealistic life hacks to painfully well-meaning Instagram inspiration, with no judgment, no expertise, and no actual solutions!

Holly, who’s built a loyal following across TikTok and Instagram for her funny takes on adulthood and neurodiversity, says Lousy Advice is about loving the messy life you already have, not chasing a better one.

The series includes storytelling, rants, big pants, and little lies, but absolutely no pressure to change. Rory isn’t trying to sell you a better life, she’s here to help you love the one you’ve already got.

Speaking about the show, Holly says the aim is to create “the anti-self-help podcast for people who are tired of pretending they’ve got it together.”

New episodes are released every Wednesday and are available on all major podcast platforms.
