The Independent Podcast Forum, which was due to take place on Monday 16 June, has been postponed.
Organised off the back of the Independent Podcast Awards, this new Forum was launched following feedback from attendees of the Awards.
Last night, whynow Media issued the following statement:
“Due to unforeseen circumstances the Independent Podcast Forum has been postponed.
“All ticket holders will receive a full refund and we’ll be in touch again when a new date has been chosen.
“The team still really believes in this event and the indie podcast community. Details of the revised date will be released in due course.
“Separately, entries are flooding in for this year’s Independent Podcast Awards, which are taking place in October. The absolute final deadline for entries is Thursday 19 June, so there’s still plenty of time to get involved.
“The ceremony will take place on Wednesday 15 October at Kings Place in London. The host will be announced shortly. As ever there is an open call for judges, so if anyone is interested in giving their time to select the shortlists and winners for 2025, should email emma@whynow.co.uk.”
