James Norman-Fyfe has been hired by Mags Creative as its new Head of Production.
James, who is an ex-BBC Assistant Commissioner and 30 under 30 winner, joins the company after five years’ experience at the BBC, and with a background in strategic communications.
His remit in the newly created role, will cover maintaining high production standards and being responsible for the professional development of an ambitious team. James will also work closely with clients at Mags Creative including brands, commissioning platforms and sponsors.
During his time at the BBC, James worked on programming across BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music and in the BBC’s Music On Demand Commissioning Unit. Most recently he had specific responsibility for the day-to-day running of the BBC’s ‘Back To Back Sounds’ music programming offer.
James says: “I am so excited to be joining the senior team at Mags Creative at this pivotal time in their journey. I’ve admired Mags’ work from afar for a while now, so I can’t wait to get stuck in!
“We’ve got some really exciting plans for the year ahead and our amazing team of producers will play a vital role in bringing these ideas to life.”
