Finding My Way is a new podcast series launched by Navigators, a leading Alternative Provision provider in the North West.
Hosted by TV and radio broadcaster Matt White, the show features inspiring conversations with guests including indie-pop band The Lottery Winners, BBC presenter OJ Borg, comedian Rachel Fairburn, and high-profile influencers such as Jono Yates of Onlyscrans.
Created to spark conversations about education, opportunity and success beyond traditional routes, Finding My Way explores how guests overcame personal challenges to forge their own paths in life and work.
Lead singer of The Lottery Winners Thom Rylance opened up about struggling at school due to undiagnosed ADHD.
“I just felt broken because I wasn’t able to do all of the things that other people can do,” he says. “There was one teacher at my school… he gave me the school guitar and told me to take it home and learn it, and I did… it literally changed my life.”
Matt White said: “Hosting Finding My Way has been a joy. As someone who has found success through a very untraditional route myself, it has been brilliant to open up conversations about this.
“I have had some fantastic chats with a brilliant and diverse range of guests as part of the series. Everybody spoke with authenticity and vulnerability and I hope it will inspire listeners.”
Anthony Thompson, CEO and Founder of Navigators, said: “Education is not a one-size-fits-all, and neither is success. Finding My Way encompasses our core values and beliefs. Thank you to all the incredible guests who have taken part and shared their stories.”
Episodes will be released weekly on Spotify and all major podcast platforms from 30 July.
