For Real with Roger Cutsforth is a series of conversations with inspiring people from the business of radio, audio and communications.
The podcast, produced by White Label Studio and recorded at This is Distorted, features guests sharing stories, insight and learnings to help the listener find their ‘real’ voice, their authentic self and the confidence to own it.
Roger founded audio consultancy, White Label Studio, in 2021 following a successful career in commercial radio, holding senior leadership positions with the biggest commercial radio publishers Global Media & Entertainment, Wireless Group and latterly Bauer Media Audio. He was also previously CEO of The Radio Academy.
Speaking about his new podcast, Roger said: “The For Real podcast came about following me posting on LinkedIn about my experiences and learnings during my career, which happened to be largely in radio and audio, albeit outside the studio.
“The pressure to present yourself in a certain way is not confined to social media, people struggle to be authentic in the workplace, feeling the need to conform to certain stereotypes.
Indeed, many are struggling every day to deal with their own imposter syndrome. In this series we talk to people from radio, audio and communications who will share their stories on how they found their own voice, their authentic self and helped colleagues to find theirs too”.
Guests lined up to appear include Mike Cass, content Director of Virgin Radio UK and Stephanie Hirst Presenter, DJ and public speaker.
