New session lined-up for Podcast Radio’s Podcast Futures event
A Generation Z and Podcast Discoverability session has been added to the Podcast Futures event from Podcast Radio.
This new session at the New York event on 19 October, will cover ways young people discover and consume podcasts.
Generation Z and Podcast Discoverability will feature the Podcasting Princess, Hala Taha from YAP Media in Brooklyn; Megan Lazovick, Vice President of Edison Research; and Rob Greenlee of Libsyn.
The event runs from 10am to 5pm in parallel with the first day of NAB Radio Show New York at the Javits Center in Manhattan. Podcast Radio has previously said it will set the vision for its future, which includes plans to expand to the US.
Other sessions include the latest study into podcast ads from NuVoodoo, the value of dynamic ad insertion from Targetspot, the connected car from Xperi and the growth and power of independent podcast networks from Evergreen Podcasts.
Veteran radio guru Fred Jacobs from Jacobs Media will explore the intersection between podcasting and radio, hours before receiving the NAB’s National Radio Award with his brother, Paul, at the Marconi dinner.
Gerry Edwards, CEO of Podcast Radio, says: “We’re all about getting podcast content into new ears and in front of new audiences. Podcast Radio has a bold and ambitious new idea of the ways in which content can be presented in the future. We’ll be explaining that at our event.”
