New York Times to launch new Wirecutter podcast
The Wirecutter Show is a new podcast from the New York Times owned review website, Wirecutter.
Each week, podcast hosts Christine Cyr Clisset and Caira Blackwell, with producer Rosie Guerin, will talk with Wirecutter journalists about tips, tricks, and product recommendations and more rooted in their authority and rigorous product-testing.
Episode one will feature staff writer Andrea Barnes, who covers large appliances for Wirecutter, revealing secrets to doing better laundry. The second episode will focus on how to keep indoor air clean and healthy, with advice from Wirecutter staff writer Tim Heffernan, a leading authority on air purifiers.
Cliff Levy, Wirecutter’s deputy publisher says: “The Wirecutter Show is rooted in the tremendous expertise of Wirecutter’s 140 journalists, who will provide so much practical and actionable advice from their work.
“Each episode is going to yield often life-changing insights that will help listeners who are grappling with a range of everyday challenges, from eliminating food waste to safely travelling with pets to figuring out how to unplug from your phone.”
The first two episodes of The Wirecutter Show will be available on 21 August, and then followed by weekly episodes.
