Nomono expands into video with new A/V sync workflow for creators

Nomono has introduced a new tool designed to improve audio quality in video-led podcast production workflows.

Audio Video Sync has been added to its Nomono Studio Cloud platform, allowing creators to align recorded audio with video while applying enhancement tools in one system.

The move reflects a wider shift in podcasting, where video is now widely used alongside audio. Research from Sounds Profitable’s The Creators 2025 report shows 71% of active podcast creators now produce video, compared with 29 percent who remain audio only.

Despite advances in camera technology and faster publishing workflows, audio quality continues to cause issues. Background noise, echo and inconsistent levels can reduce production standards, particularly for creators working in mobile or uncontrolled environments.

Nomono’s update is designed to reduce those problems earlier in the process. Creators can record using Nomono microphones, sync audio with video files from mobile or desktop devices, apply AI-assisted enhancement, and export finished video with improved sound.

Kristine Snyder, Chief Executive Officer of Nomono, said: “The creator stack is converging. It’s no longer audio versus video. It’s one continuous workflow from capture to distribution.”

Kristine added that focusing on audio quality at the point of capture simplifies later stages of production, making content faster to publish and easier to use across platforms.

The system brings together hardware and cloud-based software, to replace the need for multiple tools and manual processes. Traditional workflows often involve separate recording devices, editing platforms and syncing steps, which can increase production time.

Nomono says its platform is built for use outside studio settings, including events, travel and remote interviews. By improving audio at source and automating enhancement in the cloud, the company believes it will reduce post-production work and limit the need for reshoots.

The new Audio Video Sync capability is now available to all Nomono Studio Cloud users.
