Podcast Show London reveals first sessions across four stages

The Podcast Show London has confirmed early programme details, highlighting how major podcast brands are expanding into global formats.

With five weeks to go until The Podcast Show London 2026, organisers have unveiled the first four stages and a selection of headline sessions.

One session focuses on the growth of The Rest Is Football, exploring its journey from podcast to international show. Alex Aljoe, Gary Lineker and Tony Pastor are set to discuss how the format has developed beyond audio.

The shift towards video is also reflected in a session featuring Max Cutler and Piers Morgan, examining how established media figures and creators are adapting to a video-first landscape.

Talent, format and audience development will be discussed by Dino Sofos alongside broadcasters Jo Whiley, Zoe Ball and Alice Levine, offering insight into how podcast projects are built around recognisable voices and clear formats.

Platform strategy is another theme, with YouTube represented by Steve McLendon and Stella Binns. Their session will look at how podcast creators are using the platform for distribution, engagement and monetisation.

Narrative storytelling is also part of the programme, with contributors from NBC, ESPN and Sky News discussing approaches to structured audio storytelling.

Elsewhere, Jordan Schwarzenberger and Nihal Arthanayake will explore how podcasting can be used to drive change, reflecting wider conversations about purpose-driven content.

The newly announced sessions underline how this year’s event is expected to focus on growth, platform strategy and the continued crossover between podcasting, video and global media formats.
