PodX Group acquires majority stake in Swedish production company

PodX Group continues its expansion by acquiring a majority stake in Swedish podcast production company Filt.

Established in 2002, Filt is a market-leading independent podcast company based in Stockholm and this is PodX’s first investment in a podcast studio in the Nordics.

Filt specialises in storytelling and produces a wide range of podcasts, including journalistic true crime and fiction dramas. It has received numerous awards such as Prix Italia and Guldörat.

Reaching one million weekly listeners, it has offices in Stockholm, Copenhagen and Oslo, and it also produces content in Finland Swedish for YLE in Finland.
