Created by This Is Distorted and Podspike, Promo Club is a free, unofficial fringe event to The Podcast Show 2023.
It’s taking place on Wednesday 24 May at 7pm at a venue close to the Business Design Centre. Tickets are free but limited and will be issued on a first come first served basis in advance.
Speakers include Arielle Nissenblatt, SquadCast FM and founder of The EarBuds Podcast Collective, Emily Crosby of Emily Crosby Media, Podspike CEO Dan Page and Distorted’s Head of Marketing Becky Lamb-Pritchard.
Distorted’s Head of Marketing Becky Lamb-Pritchard says: “we are thrilled to be hosting this event and can’t wait to talk podcast promotion. ‘How do I reach new listeners?’ is one of the most common questions podcasters ask me and I hope this event helps creators build their marketing plans and their podcast network. Podcasting is all about community and we hope this evening reflects that.”
Podspike’s CEO Dan Page added: “I’m really excited to be working with Becky and the team at Distorted on this fringe event – it can be tough for indie podcasters to cut through, so our hope is that by starting Promo Club we can offer impactful advice and opportunities in a relaxed environment. Oh, and did we mention there’ll be free pizza?”
