Puffin Books launches summer special of Mission Imagination podcast
The World of Peter Rabbit is a summer special of the Mission Imagination podcast being launched by Puffin Books.
Hosted by comedian and I’m A Celebrity star Babatunde Aléshé and two young Puffineers, the podcast will take young listeners to a magical world inspired by ‘Peter Rabbit: Head Over Tail’ by author Rachel Bright.
“I’m so proud to host the award-winning Mission Imagination. This is such a great piece of work which continues to bring much needed positivity and joy, whilst inspiring the next generation,” says Babatunde Aléshé.
Starting their journey in the Puffin Library of Made-Up Things, Rachel Bright together with Mission Imagination host Babatunde Aléshé and Puffineers Darcey and Tylan, make their way to meet Peter Rabbit.
Arriving in a burrow, the group soon wanders around a wonderful green garden, where they help Peter plant delicious vegetables and nibble on yummy food that gives the group the power to do anything they set their imaginations to…!
Being the master of inventions, Peter Rabbit has created the ‘Super-Speedy Seed Disperser’ to help plant vegetables quicker and the four of them embark on a journey of seeding and planting.
But as always, there is one rule that cannot be broken.
As the four are helping Peter Rabbit with his vegetable patch, they will have to use their imagination to give ordinary things extraordinary power. If one person stops believing and the rules are broken, danger follows.
