Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing launch NewlyParents podcast series

A new podcast series will follow Sophie and Jamie Laing as they navigate early parenthood.

JamPot Productions has confirmed that NewlyParents with Sophie and Jamie Laing will launch on 27 April, continuing the couple’s podcast journey as they move into a new stage of their lives.

The series picks up from NearlyParents and arrives soon after the release of their Disney+ series Raising Chelsea.

It focuses on the transition into parenthood, exploring how the couple adapt to changes in their relationship, routines and wider family life.

NewlyParents will cover more than the practical side of raising a child. The podcast will look at the emotional and personal impact of major life changes, including shifting identities, evolving ambitions and the pressures that can affect relationships during this period.

Sophie and Jamie will continue their established style of open conversation, sharing personal experiences and challenges without filtering difficult moments. The show also reflects on balancing work, friendships and public life while adjusting to becoming parents.

The podcast builds on a run of previous series from the couple, including NearlyWeds, NewlyWeds and NearlyParents, which have followed different stages of their relationship.

Their earlier format, NearlyWeds, is now hosted by Molly Smith and Tom Clare following their appearance on Love Island All Stars.

Craig Strachan, chief executive of JamPot Productions, said: “Sophie and Jamie have built an extraordinary connection with their audience by sharing their lives with authenticity, humour and honesty.

“We know that people have been waiting for them to return and we’re so excited to be launching their next chapter with NewlyParents. It’s funny, chaotic and incredibly real, exactly what listeners have come to love from them.”

The new series continues JamPot’s focus on personality-led podcasts that document real-life experiences, with Sophie and Jamie’s evolving story remaining central to its output.
