Spotify is allowing users to save AI generated audio briefings and private podcasts directly into their libraries.
The new Personal Podcasts feature lets people use AI agents to create spoken audio based on notes, schedules, articles, searches, and other personal material, then listen through Spotify across connected devices.
Spotify says the tool works with agents including OpenClaw, Claude Code and OpenAI Codex using a new Save to Spotify beta tool.
The company says users are already creating audio summaries for revision notes, calendar briefings and learning guides, and wanted a way to hear them through Spotify alongside music, podcasts and audiobooks.
Spotify said: “People are already starting to use their agents to create personal audio that guides their day.”
Users can generate a private podcast through their chosen AI agent, which is then saved into their Spotify library for listening across devices.
Examples include a daily morning briefing featuring weather updates, meeting reminders and podcast recommendations for commuting, or longer educational audio guides built from saved files, notes and articles.
To use the feature, users install the Save to Spotify command line tool through GitHub, connect their Spotify account through a browser, then ask their AI agent to create and save a Personal Podcast.
The feature is available globally for eligible Free and Premium users.
