The Podcast Show returns for its fourth year for two days at Islington’s Business Design Centre, London, 21 and 22 May with the full programme and line up now issued.
Global and iHeartPodcasts have returned to the show – this time, united as Headline Partners for 2025. Their strategic partnership brings iHeart’s podcasts to more UK listeners and monetises them for brands exclusively through Global. Meanwhile, the partnership introduces Global’s flagship podcasts to audiences in the US.
“We are excited to team up with The Podcast Show London again this year,” said Will Pearson, President of iHeartPodcasts. “The festival shines a light on the amazing talent and creatives across the medium and highlights the importance of podcasting as an international industry.”
As part of its commitment to supporting creators and the next generation, The Podcast Show will host features including:
The Creator Village where you can book a slot at the Creator Advice Lab for personalised guidance on community-building, legal advice, branding, and video podcasting from 80+ industry experts giving up their time to support new independent podcast creators.
Pitch your podcast idea directly and explore The Podcast Creator Studio hosted by Spiritland Productions.
New for 2025 will be the Indie Business Stage, in association with AudioUK, which will host a series of sessions to support the development of new businesses within the podcast community.
Plus, The International Gallery, which will provide a place for international visitors to meet and network, as well as attend a series of international events including drinks receptions and presentations.
The PAVE Bus Stop – presented by PAVE Studios – is where creators and the podcast community can come together to grab a drink, connect, and recharge. It will be parked at the main entrance for both days.
This year, Global and iHeartPodcasts will champion “Power in Partnerships” in The Origin Theatre – the returning stage will spotlight the impact of meaningful collaboration in podcasting.
Also returning are The Brand Works Stage (with Sounds Profitable and IABUK), The Studio Stage, Talking Podcasts Stages 1 and 2 and ‘Ask The Experts’, in association with BetterHelp.
The ‘in demand’ PodHouses will host up to 70 people in each reception via a range of partner organisations including: Voxtopica, The Radio Academy, Wondershare, NPR, VeePod, Financial Times, Treefort Media, Spotify and Bumper.
There will be over 350 speakers and 130 sessions across seven stages, plus Creator Meetups on both days, offering a chance for the podcast industry to interact with creator talent through the programme of open Q&A sessions.
These sessions will be hosted by the likes of International Women’s Podcast Awards, The Radio Academy, Audio UK, VAMP and South Asian Podcasters. Several Partners will be hosting networking events including Netflix Podcasts and Dolby.
The Podcast Show’s Co-Founder and Festival Director, Jason Carter, says: “With less than a week until The Podcast Show 2025, we’re expecting our biggest number of attendees ever from over 40 countries.
“We’re really proud to be welcoming the international podcast community to share ideas here in London.
“Our programme and networking events have been designed to bring value to every corner of the industry – we’re excited to hear the insights and see the connections from this year’s show.”
The Podcast Show LIVE, promoted by AEG Presents, will bring some of the UK’s favourite voices to the stage.
