Time for bed with Podcast Radio and Children’s BBC star

Podcast Radio has entered a new content partnership with Little Radio to broadcast a series of bedtime stories for children every evening.

Little Radio’s Bedtime Stories will be aired every weekday from 7pm from Monday 22 February hosted by well-known Children’s BBC and pantomime star Chris Jarvis. Many of the stories – aimed at children aged three to six – are original.

Podcast Radio director Paul Chantler says, “We’ve wanted to include something for kids on our station since we launched a year ago. With the lockdown continuing, this is an ideal way for parents to get kids ready for bed at a regular time.”

Little Radio broadcasts on digital radio in Portsmouth and Glasgow and is also available via an app and website.

Chris Jarvis says: “We’ve found these stories to be extremely popular on Little Radio and we wanted to get them to a wider audience so an opportunity to team up with Podcast Radio was the perfect solution”.

Podcast Radio launched one year ago and broadcasts on digital radio in London, Surrey, Manchester and Glasgow as well as streaming online worldwide. It is set to expand to more UK cities this year.

The station aims to help make it easier to navigate and discover the 2.2 million podcasts available now and plays samples 24/7.
