The International Women’s Podcast Awards will move to Toronto this year as part of a new co-presenting partnership.
Tink Media is joining founder Naomi Mellor of Everybody Media to co-present the International Women’s Podcast Awards for 2026, marking a shift in location and a broader international focus for the event.
The ceremony will take place in Toronto, Canada later this year, introducing a new base for an awards programme that has built a global reputation since launching in 2021. This is intended to extend its reach while maintaining its focus on recognising women working across podcasting.
The awards celebrate creativity and achievement across multiple categories, covering a wide range of roles including hosts, producers, editors and writers. They remain open to both independent creators and those working within established audio organisations, with a continued emphasis on inclusivity.
Naomi Mellor from Everybody Media said: “Lauren was one of the first people I spoke to last year when thinking about the possibility of hosting the IWPAs in North America and we’re both incredibly excited that we can now announce our collaboration for 2026.
“Lauren and the team at Tink have been huge supporters of the awards since they started in 2021 and I know that they will nurture the IWPAs and the global community surrounding the event with the same degree of inclusivity, warmth and love that we have endeavoured to make its trademark since the beginning.”
