Too Long Didn’t Listen turns podcast debates into quick answers

A new podcast launching next week will attempt answer some of podcasting’s most debated questions in just a few minutes.

Too Long Didn’t Listen is a new series from Dubble Audio, hosted by the company’s founder, Josh Craggs. It is designed to cut through the conflicting opinions that often surround the podcast industry.

Each episode focuses on a single question. Five podcast professionals are given 60 seconds each to share their views, creating a concise roundup of perspectives from across the industry.

The first series will cover topics including what defines a podcast, whether it is worth starting one in 2026, how long episodes should be, and the role of video. A bonus episode will feature recommendations for podcasts that listeners should hear.

Josh says the idea came from his own efforts to improve his podcasting skills and his frustration at finding more arguments on LinkedIn than practical advice. The series will also build a useful resource for both experienced podcasters and newcomers.

Guests confirmed for the first series include Kevyah Cardoso, Chris Stone, Thuy Dong, Katie Stokes, Em McGowan, Adam Batty, Candace Wilson, Dee Safieh, Saskhia Menendez, Salman Ahad Khan, Adrian Bradley, Abi McNeil, Elsie Escobar and Sefa Nkyi.

Seven episodes, including the bonus edition, will make up the first series of Too Long Didn’t Listen, which launches on 19 May in both audio and video formats.
