Upfront podcast returns for 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup

The go-to women’s football podcast, Upfront returns for the 2023 Women’s World Cup with three episodes a week.

Presented by former Tottenham and Crystal Palace goalkeeper Chloe Morgan – now editor at The Athletic – and co-founder of the GirlsontheBall platform Rachel O’Sullivan, Upfront will give listeners an episode every morning after every England game.

Expert opinion and entertaining debate about everything on the pitch will be included in each episode, alongside insight into issues surrounding the game.

The podcast was born out of the UK’s most popular independent football podcast, Football Ramble. After the success of the UEFA Women’s Euros where the show accumulated over half a million downloads, Upfront has become known as the place for important discussions about all corners of the women’s game.

Produced by Stak, Upfront will be available three times a week on Apple, Spotify, Acast and all podcast providers throughout the World Cup, which starts on Thursday 20 July.
