Wolf Entertainment launches kids podcast Patrick Picklebottom mysteries

Wolf Entertainment is teaming up with Realm’s kids and family division, Pinna, to launch its first kids’ podcast, Patrick Picklebottom: Everyday Mysteries.

The eight-part audio series, inspired by Jay Miletsky’s popular book franchise, follows Patrick, an inquisitive 11-year-old with a love of books and a talent for solving puzzles, as he tackles a new neighbourhood mystery each week.

Aimed at young listeners, the show encourages problem-solving and critical thinking through playful storytelling and engaging, character-driven adventures.

Dick Wolf, President of Wolf Entertainment, said: “As the company behind some of the most iconic crime stories, it was only natural to share the excitement of solving mysteries with kids. Patrick Picklebottom is the perfect place to start.”

Molly Barton, CEO of Realm, which operates Pinna, added: “We’re honoured to partner with Wolf Entertainment for their first foray into Kids & Family storytelling. It’s a perfect fit for our Pinna families who love bringing high-quality, engaging audio into the car and kitchen.”

Author Jay Miletsky said creating the podcast has been “an incredible experience,” adding: “There’s nothing more exciting than seeing my characters come to life in a completely new way.”

Patrick Picklebottom: Everyday Mysteries launches on 14 October, with new episodes released weekly. The book series will also return in hardcover editions this autumn.
