Season three of hit con-themed podcast Chameleon: Wild Boys launches

Campside Media in partnership with Sony Music Entertainment have launched the new season of hit investigative podcast series Chameleon with Chameleon: Wild Boys.

This season of the true crime series follows the shocking true story of two young men who emerged from the woods in a small Canadian town telling an incredible story: they’d been raised in an extremely remote cabin in the wilderness, and this was their first-ever contact with society – except nothing they said was true.

The podcast tells the story of a generous community who welcomed the ‘Bush Boys’ with open arms, only to find out the boys were not who they said they were. This season’s host, award-winning comedian and journalist Sam Mullins, gives a first-hand account of life in Vernon BC at the time that Kyle and Roen Horn claimed to be entering the modern world for the first time. “Wild Boys” will feature exclusive conversations with ‘Bush Boys’ themselves, their family, and members of the Vernon community.

“As someone who grew up in Vernon and experienced first-hand the outrageous ‘Bush Boys’ story, I’m looking forward to uncovering the bizarre true story of these two strangers who turned my hometown upside down,” said Sam Mullins. “This season of Chameleon will challenge the idea of what a con man is. Every time you think you have these boys figured out, they prove you wrong.”

The first two episodes of Chameleon: Wild Boys are available on all major podcast platforms, including Apple Podcasts, Spotify and Stitcher.
