The Hidden 20% is a podcast series with a mission to rewrite the future for neurodivergent people by breaking the cycle of shame, suffering and silence.
Hosted by Ben Branson, founder of Seedlip Drinks, the world’s first distilled non-alcoholic spirit brand, each episode meets with neurodivergent creatives, entrepreneurs, and experts.
Through open discussions, Ben and his guests talk about how neurodivergent minds approach relationships, careers and creativity in ways that often go unrecognised.
The Hidden 20% was inspired by Ben’s own life-changing experience of being diagnosed with Autism and ADHD at the age of 41.
After years of feeling misunderstood, Ben felt as though he’d finally been given the keys to a lifetime of questions. His subsequent research found that despite there being over 1.6 billion people globally who are neurodivergent, stigma and shame around it is rife.
Driven by a deep commitment to rewrite the future for those who think differently, Ben founded The Hidden 20% โ a media-led charity and podcast.
Since its launch in January 2024, the podcast has taken home the Gold award in the Interview category at the British Podcast Awards.
Some of Ben’s most prominent interviews include actor Kit Harington, who in his first-ever podcast interview revealed he was diagnosed with ADHD whilst being treated for alcoholism in rehab.
Chef Heston Blumenthal spoke with Ben in an exclusive episode about his bipolar disorder and experiencing manic episodes.
Model and influencer Lottie Moss shared her experience with the dark side of the fashion industry and what it’s like taking ADHD medication.
To mark Dyslexia Awareness Week, this week’s episode is with Georgia Steel, the model and influencer who first rose to fame on Love Island.
Diagnosed with dyslexia at 15, Georgia opens up about the challenges she faced growing up and how her neurodivergence impacted her time in the Love Island villa. She also shares practical coping strategies that have helped her thrive.
New episodes of The Hidden 20% are released every week and available wherever you get your podcasts.
