JB Gill joins The Netmums Podcast as co-host for 2026 refresh

JB Gill will co-host The Netmums Podcast, marking a shift in how the show reflects modern UK parenting.

The singer and TV presenter joins Netmums Editorial Director Louise Burke for the podcast’s 18th series, launching on 10 February, as the brand responds to growing engagement from fathers across its platforms.

Netmums says dads now account for around one in five users, a figure that has risen steadily over the past five years.

JB, who is a father of two, brings a background that spans music, entertainment and factual broadcasting.

He rose to prominence as a member of JLS following The X Factor in 2008 and has since built a presenting career that includes The One Show, a finalist appearance on Strictly Come Dancing in 2024, and a recent role in The Celebrity Apprentice: Christmas Special 2025.

Alongside his television work, JB has developed a profile around family life and farming, after setting up a farm with his wife Chloe in Kent in 2012.

That experience has informed programmes including CBeebies’ Down On The Farm and Channel 5’s Cooking With The Gills and On the Farm, as well as contributions to Countryfile and Springwatch. He is also a published children’s author with Puffin Books.

Launched in 2020, The Netmums Podcast has expanded beyond its original format into spin-offs including Netmums Unfiltered and Late Night Netmums.

The main show has featured guests such as Davina McCall, Joe Wicks, Sir Keir Starmer and Alex Jones, focusing on personal experiences of parenting rather than expert advice alone.

Netmums Managing Director Rimi Atwal said the podcast has become “one of our most powerful ways to connect with UK parents”, adding that JB “brings an energy and authenticity that perfectly fits our brand and community”.

The refreshed series will continue to cover pregnancy, early years, mental health, money and relationships, while also placing greater emphasis on video and social-first content.

Netmums says the update forms part of a wider strategy to evolve its audio and video output across platforms during 2026.

JB said: “I’m thrilled to be joining Netmums and to be part of a show that reflects real parenting in all its joy and chaos.” Louise added that the new line-up aims to make the podcast “the must-watch, must-listen show for all parents across the UK”.

The new series launches on 10 February.
