Matty Lee launches podcast The After Dive with athlete guests

Matty Lee has launched a new podcast featuring relaxed conversations with athletes and entertainers.

The Olympic gold medallist is hosting The After Dive, a series built around informal and open discussions with guests from across sport and media, revealing a different side to well-known figures through longer-form audio.

Early episodes include appearances from Jazmine Sawyers, Alice Kinsella, Jess Breach and Aimee Fuller, each bringing their own experiences from elite competition and broadcasting into conversations that focus on life beyond performance.

Matty Lee, who won Olympic gold at the Tokyo Games alongside Tom Daley, has been expanding his work in media since stepping away from elite diving, moving into TV and digital projects while maintaining a public profile.

His recent television credits include I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, A Question of Sport and The Chase Celebrity Special, where he has developed his presenting style and on-screen presence.

With this podcast, Matty says he is extending that approach into audio, using a format designed to prioritise personality-led discussion and guest storytelling, rather than structured interviews.

Speaking about the launch, Matty said: “The After Dive is something I’m really proud of. I wanted to create a space where conversations feel open, relaxed and genuinely fun, where guests can be themselves and listeners get to hear a different side to them.”

He added: “I’ve loved the conversations we’ve had so far and I’m excited to keep building it.”

The podcast is available on YouTube and major podcast platforms.
